Jet Blue Airways Corporation thought it had the perfect black person to celebrate for Black History Month when it chose cop killer Assata Shakur as one of its honorees.

No, seriously. Jet Blue praised and honored a cop killer.

The airline put out posters celebrating the murderer in at least one airport, according to Daily Caller.

Jet Blue had some decent fares to a couple of cities from Pittsburgh, and I took advantage of them a few times, but then JB cut the nonstop service to those cities.  So a trip to Philadelphia, for example, would take at least four hours, instead of half that. 

So if Jet Blue goes under, I won't mourn.

Who among the big shots running JB decided that featuring a wanted cop-killer and terrorist as a hero would be a good idea? What went through their minds, if anything?
