Mainstream Outlets Fail to Report Full Story on Illegal Immigrant Death in McAllen, Texas

A CNN article from late Monday night reported a 45-year-old illegal Mexican immigrant passed away at McAllen Medical Center on February 18. However, the U.S. CBP’s full release was sporadically different than what CNN reported.
According to the CBP’s statement released on February 18, a Mexican man was “encountered by the Roma Texas Police Department on February 2, near the Roma Port of Entry and requested medical attention.â€
The immigrant was transported to the Mission Region Medical Center, located in Mission Texas. There, he received any and all medical treatment he has requested to officials at the border. Medical professionals at Mission Region Medical Center cleared him to return to the Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station.
