Hillary Clinton met with Biden, Klobuchar to talk 2020: report

Hillary Clinton held meetings earlier this month with former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) to discuss the 2020 presidential election, CNN reported Thursday, citing a source close to Clinton.

The meetings were reportedly held at Clinton's home in Washington, D.C., and focused on the potential White House bids of Biden and Klobuchar.

Klobuchar officially announced her candidacy on Feb 10. Biden has yet to say whether he will run but appears likely to launch a bid.

Spokespeople for Biden and Klobuchar confirmed to CNN that the meetings were held.

Clinton has also met with a range of other candidates in the race, including Sens. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), CNN previously reported.

Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, has yet to make an endorsement in the race.

Clinton endorsing anyone, I would think would be the kiss of death to their campaign.  She is no longer relevant.  No one is begging her to run.  Her book and signing was a flop.  Even during her presidential campaign she couldn't draw the crowds that she used to.

There are a lot of old school working class Democrats that don't follow politics closely. Clinton is a name they are familiar with and that they trust. It was these very people that enabled Clinton to defeat Bernie. Unfortunately I have to disagree about the value of her endorsement.

Her entire popular vote margin was in CA, which would have given the same margin to anyone who wasn't Trump. That hardly constitutes an argument that people "trust" her. IMO the hard-core Clinton supporters will go to Warren and Harris regardless of any Clinton endorsements...
