Republicans rally around Trump after McCabe's assertions
MSN, Feb 21, 2019, McClatchy Washington Bureau

WASHINGTON - Republicans have launched a counteroffensive to discredit former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe's reports that Justice Department officials discussed removing President Donald Trump from office.

The Republican National Committee fired off an email that labeled McCabe a "Liar. Leaker. Loser."

Trump told reporters Wednesday that McCabe "looks to me like a poor man's J. Edgar Hoover" and that he was "very proud to say that we caught him." The president retweeted a Geraldo Rivera tweet that accused McCabe of "malignant arrogance."

And the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Doug Collins of Georgia, is seeking a hearing featuring McCabe and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and possibly a subpoena.

"The aim of this request isn't to discredit anyone - it's to get answers under oath to questions that concern millions of Americans," said Jessica Andrews, spokeswoman for Collins.

"The American people have a right to know whether the unelected FBI and DOJ leadership substituted their judgment for the judgment of the American people regarding newly elected President Donald Trump," Collins wrote Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, a New York Democrat.

Nixon Watergate era:

AG Mitchell served time in prison, as did Halderman, Erlichman John Dean, Colson and others.

In words even a Trump Hater can understand, there is a precedent for misuse of power at the top, to have serious consequences.

Notice however the silence concering Hillary and/or Obama involvement?

Obama wanting to remain in the loop? Bill and Lorreta on the hoenix tarmac? Hillary's destruction of a lot of evidence?

It's going to be interesting to see what the Mueller report turns over and whether or not there is any mention of McCabe or Rosenstein.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Oh, yeah @truth_seeker   All that you say is true, except maybe where you said "even a Trump hater can understand."  After the last few days, I'm not sure that is true.
