Australian police have arrested a Chilean woman living in Sydney over her alleged involvement in a kidnapping during the military rule of Gen Augusto Pinochet in the South American country.

Adriana Rivas worked as a secretary for the infamous chief of Chile's secret police force, Manuel Contreras.

Contreras died in 2015 while serving a sentence of more than 500 years for human rights abuses.

She was in an interview a few years ago, possibly another case of where, if a person kept their mouth shut, they would not be going through this present ordeal.  You hear about things happening like that from time to time. Some guy in Florida gave an interview of talking about his work for Pablo Escobar, he flew planes for him, I think he was a white guy, well, the guy got arrested because of what was on the interview.
