CHRISTIANITY CRACKDOWN: Extremists demand REMOVAL of tribute to priest - ‘An insult!’

EXTREMISTS are calling for the removal of a Christian bust of a German missionary as it is considered an “insult” to their history - but local worshippers believe this is a ploy to gain electoral consensus.

Indian Christian 'scared' about country's attitude to Christianity

Christians in India are accusing leading party BJP of trying to “divide” the indigenous communities to create an “anti-Christian” atmosphere. Some groups of radical Hindus led by Ram Kumar Pahan have petitioned police to tear down the statue of Father John Baptist Hoffmann, a jesuit who worked among tribal people in the present Jharkhand area. The statue is located on the grounds of the Immaculate Conception church in the Sarwada parish in Khunti district, some 55km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand.

This is intolerable, unacceptable and in India by the way, hopefully, this is the limit of persecution of Christians in India.... and it seems rather mild compared to the bomb-your-church crowd in some other Muslim nations like Pakistan and Egypt and of course, all of the oppression in Syria/Iraq and Turkey, let's see, can I stop there.
