El Chapo’s Attorney to Ted Cruz: ‘Ludicrous’ to Suggest Drug Kingpin Would Fund Wall

by KATHERINE RODRIGUEZ
17 Feb 2019

The attorney for convicted drug kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman shot back at Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) idea to make his client pay for the wall along the U.S. southern border with Mexico, calling it “ludicrous.”

“Sen. Cruz surely knows that the government has seized none — not a penny — of Mr. Guzman’s assets so getting him to pay for the wall is ludicrous,” Guzman’s attorney, Jeffrey Lichtman, told CNN.

“There’s a better chance of Mr. Cruz paying for the wall,” he added.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.

Where will the $8bn come from?

    $1.4bn from the agreed budget
$600m from cash and assets seized from drug traffickers
$2.5bn from a defence department anti-drug trafficking fund
$3.5bn reallocated from military construction projects

Narco-money would already be used on the wall. Might double-check the stats, it's not a new idea.
