Obviously, never..... since the press consists of the very same radical leftists that are pushing for that "voter drive". Oh sure, some just believe all it's doing is getting more Democrat voters.
But some of the "enemy within leftists" know what the ultimate 'real' goal is.... to collapse the entire healthcare system and economy so they can: A. take advantage by taking over, B. finally get single-payer HC.
The leftists use this template for other issues. Example: Gun "control." Issue restrictions, then ignore the restrictions in order to thump the tub for more controls, rinse and repeat until the restrictions are so tight they can confiscate ("grab") the citizens right to self defense.
This is why people who have been adjudicated unable to own a weapon are using "legally" purchased firearms in mass killings, like yesterday. There have been a lot of mass shootings that have been enabled by politicians refusing to observe the laws already on the books. It's a simple calculus.
Another example of this: A loony-toons kid with a record of alcohol poisoning and insanity was allowed to keep his 9mm pistol because his Mommy was a pal of a leftist Sheriff in Tucson AZ, who refused to list the kid as a risk. As a result a Federal Judge and little girl were killed and a Rat Congresswoman was shot in the face. This Cloward-Piven strategy worked like a charm in creating martyrs to champion the cause of another round of crackdowns on legal gun owners. The Rats are still riding that black horse to this day.
