As I have pointed out a couple dozen times previous, not the biggest Trump fan...

That said, this is a National Emergency, it has been for a decade and build the dang wall. Protecting this country from invasion is one of the few legit jobs the Federal government has not overstepped it's bounds.

Because you'd be "adapting" BIGTIME right now.

I don't think anyone will be surprised @DCPatriot  --- but I "get" what this means.  Had the political strategists right here on this thread somehow managed to convince us that their way is the right way we would have stayed home or voted third party and Hillary would have won.

And what a world we'd be in right now.

Every new judge on the bench would be liberal.  There would be no talk of immigration reform, never mind building a wall.  A few million illegal voters would be strategically settled in the USA for 2020.  There would be no economic growth, no reinvigorated military, no renewed national pride and no President would have stood up at the SOTU and reminded the American people that "we are born free and we will die free...we will never be a socialist nation".  No one would have used the SOTU to denounce the murder of newborns.

We took the slings and arrows, the insults and ridicule but we did what was right for our nation.  We did not choose to sit it out....we chose to fight.  And because of this fight we are winning again and the younger generations and minorities are learning there is a different way from radical liberalism  -- and it is a better one.
 
Personally, I've chosen to overlook a "thank you" at this point and will settle for less preaching about what ought to be and an acknowledgement of how far we've moved in the right direction.

Please don't take my post personally @Bigun  You're one of the few I didn't have in mind at the time....and still don't.

But among others the resistance for resistance's sake is strong.  It's also counter-productive and making it more and more difficult to visit.  I could watch MSNBCCNN and be clobbered with the same commentaries.
