Democrats Panic After McConnell Urges 'Green New Deal' Vote. They Get Mocked.

Democrats are panicking after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Tuesday that Republicans intend to allow a vote on the Democrats' massive government takeover, known as the "Green New Deal."

"I've noted with great interest the Green New Deal," McConnell said. "And we're going to be voting on that in the Senate. Give everybody an opportunity to go on record and see how they feel about the Green New Deal."

Democratic Senator Ed Markey, who jointly introduced the Green New Deal last week with socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, claimed that McConnell allowing a vote on the bill was Republicans' way of secretly "sabotaging" it.

"Don’t let Mitch McConnell fool you: this is nothing but an attempt to sabotage the movement we are building," Markey tweeted. "He wants to silence your voice so Republicans don’t have to explain why they are climate change deniers. McConnell wants this to be the end, this is just the beginning."

True, but that is not my point, my point is that the Marxists will paint the GOP as anti-environment
and a lot of the voters will fall for it. The New Green deal is not going anywhere so what is the up
side of forcing a vote on it?

Most of the high profile Marxists in the Senate have already endorsed it. The House will never vote
on it. Voters will see the Senate voting on it as a partisan political stunt. Useless theater just like
the vote to repeal Ocare when Obama was president. The GOP needs to get serious about
implementing Trump's agenda and stop playing games that do nothing but turn off swing voters.

Rats love banging Looney Tune Bass Drums at the head of a Parade as a PR gimmick to paint their opponents as evil.

But They don't Have the votes to ram this POS idea through. Nor would they even Want to.

This idea is just more proof that the Rats have Arrived, as Prisoners of their own whacky base.

This is nothing but red meat to toss the Sanders dingbats in the hope of keeping them from reforming the CPUSA as a stronger faction/3rd party to vote for.

Not funding The Wall when we had the House, Senate and the Presidency is what lets the Rats win
every time.  Useless political stunts do nothing to move our agenda forward. Mitch has been good
on Judges and other appointments. But other than that he's a nothing burger.

Since I don't trust Mitch McConnell OR his 'judgment'.... I have to question his motivation on this.  And on pretty much everything else.  I think "sabotage" is a very good word for what he is usually up to.... but not necessarily when used against the Democrats.

But... timing is everything.   And if you were going to use this (the forced vote on GND) as a tool against the Democrats.... wouldn't it be better used right before the 2020 election?  You use it now and people will forget all about how FOS the Democrats are (and have always been).

This is a really big eff'n deal for the leftist side of the rat party.  They are going to push many different versions and revisions of this job killing proposal for years.   We need to hammer the bastards every time they bring it up. 

This is the right move, at the right time, for all the right reasons.  Whack a rat time.
