Giffords, the civilian disarmament advocacy operation run by Mark Kelly and Gabby Giffords, has just released their annual ratings of gun laws throughout these United States. In case it isn’t clear, this is one test you want your state to fail.

Giffords rates 22 states as having what our readers and millions of American gun owners would consider good gun laws. In other words, Giffords gives them a grade of F.

You can probably guess the Second Amendment-infringing states on which Giffords bestowed their highest mark. They are California, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Hawaii. No surprises there.

Giffords even provides commentary on the 2018 “progress” each state made in restricting the right to keep and bear arms. For our F-rated home state of Texas, they say . . .

This is one time where a failing grade is a good thing.

I am very disappointed here in FL.  We received a C-.  Thanks Gov. Scott for your compromise on the 2A!  9999hair out0000  Rubio also has a bill in the works that would also infringe upon our 2nd amendment rights.   888mouth

Your NRA rep down there Marion Hammer and the newly appointed anti-gun Ag Commissioner and her deputy aren't doing Florida any favors either.

This is fabricated bullshit. PA hasn't had any gun laws passed forever, we have the Castle Doctrine and I don't need to take some stupid test to get a carry license. Oregon is the opposite yet they have the same score?

She's vowed to limit Ms. Hammer's access to her office.

She was vocal in her support of banning bump stocks...she attacks any home grown Florida pro gun rights groups that don't think the way she does...she hasn't attended a BoD meeting in almost four years...and the goes negative against anyone running for the board that suggests change or reform.

She's part of a good old boy network in the NRA hierarchy that would make Mitch McConnell proud.

WI got a C- too but I don't know why.  As I recall in Florida a White/Mexican hunted down, then killed baby Travon to steal his skittles, and Gov Scott bent over for the gun controllers.  Correct me if I'm wrong.  You would know better than me, I just get the Fake news. 

But WI Gov Walker in 2011 passed concealed carry and the Castle Doctrine which says "you step on my land and I can shoot you until I stop."

On, Aug 5th 2012 a white patriot shot the hell out of a muslim church a sikh church which looks a lot like a muslim church because the worshipers have dark brown skin.  It doesn't really matter, really.  What I'm trying to say is they ain't Christian so it's not necessarily a bad thing.  My Governor told the gun grabbers "Bite Me."

How does WI rate a C-?  That's bu11sh1t. D- at worst.  We have stores that sell ammo, booze, porn, fireworks, and cooked meat(not aligator).  Dream the Dream Florida.

Alabama made slight progress, but the Sheriff Association kept the ability to carry in cars from passing with the help of RINO GOP nad-less pukes. That and the NRA which balked at supporting the gun legislation. I have honest got no respect for the NRA after they punted and sided with the sheriffs to keep the money rolling in taxing your right to carry in state.

Join the GOA or your local gun organizations that push for Constitutional Carry, the NRA is a waste of your money.
