Pope Francis Leading His Flock to the Slaughter?

The "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" is being portrayed as a "historic pledge of fraternity" and applauded as a "historical breakthrough." The problem is that one of the two men who signed it, Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, has repeatedly contradicted — when speaking in Arabic and appearing on Arabic media — all the lofty sentiments highlighted in it.

Al-Tayeb's predecessor, Egypt's former grand imam, Sheikh Muhammad Sayyid Tantawi (d. 2010), had, "without even being asked, removed all the old books and placed just one introductory book, [but] when al-Tayeb came, he got rid of that book and brought back all the old books, which are full of slaughter and bloodshed." — Dr. Islam al-Behery, a popular Egyptian theologian.
“A society does not ever die ‘from natural causes’, but always dies from suicide or murder – and nearly always from the former….”

Frankie Boy was raised in Buenos Aires/Argentina, during the era of Juan Peron; hence his socialism.
Given his brain dead quotes; not sure he's even a Roman Catholic.
Hopefully the Church Hierarchy will grasp the mortal danger of this jackass and force him
out by whatever means necessary; as they did to similar buffoons during the Renaissance.

No one denies there have been some bad popes in history, this anti-Catholic idiot apparently does not know anything about history.  Again, they are hypocrites never mentioning that some of our allies in the war on terror are people we are selling arms to and apparently in Yemen, again, al Qaeda got some of those weapons.

Honestly, should we start posting counter-articles that show Pope Francis in a good light? These articles come out every few days and looking around, I do see a number of the assertions that these articles made can be countered. The same can be made on other issues.  It doesn't seem fair to vent articles from Front Page Mag or even Gatestone. It's like they are filler.

That's a good question.  Are there stories that show the Pope in a good light?  I honestly haven't seen any, so I don't know.

I have considered myself Sede Vacante for the better part of two years now.

It was a sad day when the White smoke emerged from the chimney atop the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican, signaling that the cardinals have elected Jorge Mario Bergoglio—a 76-year-old Argentine and archbishop of Buenos Aires.   We need a do-over on this turkey.

Catholicism won't survive without people like Pope Francis. The world is changing. Major religions will either change with it or become irrelevant as the masses turn their backs on them.

Uh-huh. Of course that does not apply to Islam, the fastest growing religion on Earth primarily because they have multiple wives, servants, slaves, and concubines, who are not allowed to refuse sex, and do not use any type of birth-control.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

Islam will face the same thing a little further down the road. The Middle East is not caught up with the rest of the modern world, but sooner or later it will be, and by that point Islam will have changed.

And then annihilation will ensue, and some few surviors will find again, the Book in the rubble.

I must disagree..I'm sorry.

The world may change...but religion does not. They won't become irrelevlant. Religion, to me isn't church like  the brick and mortar...it has what happens in my heart.

Indeed - what will make them irrelevant is bowing to social norms.

AHEM! Catholicism will survive DESPITE people like pope socialista and his homosexual brethren, no matter the damage they do in the short term. Francis is just the latest in a long period of hippies trying to popularize religion with the distinct plan to destroy of destroying it. We no longer have traditional masses, we have kumbaya and mass for the illiterate who can't even figure out how to dress for church, we have to have to have equalize representation  of women at the alter. And maybe you haven't been paying attention but the number of Christians in countries other than those considered WHITE has been growing quite well, including Catholics.

Isn't there a global warming thingy for you to worry about?

Stuff and nonsense.  The Holy Orthodox Church still does things the way they've been done since the 9th century (I picked that because it was then that our last major liturgical rite -- the marriage ceremony -- was composed, before that Christian marriage was a Roman civil marriage undertaken with the blessing of the local bishop followed by the couple receiving the Holy Mysteries at a Divine Liturgy) and we're growing quite nicely, with the re-Christianizaiton of traditionally Orthodox countries after the fall of Communism, steady streams of converts from various Western confessions and lots of successful missionary activity in Africa.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

Catholicism better hold its ground and clean the vipers out of the nest.

The religions which have become irrelevant are those which have capitulated in the face of pressure to lower their standards, quit teaching the Bible, and acquiesced to 'social pressure'. Sure all that makes for a 'feelgood' environment, but that is no substitute for doing the right thing.  When churches permit that which scripture forbids, they are no longer doing His work.
