Quote

“The problem is he had dreams outside of Germany,” she continued. “He wanted to globalize. He wanted everybody to be German.”

Owens defended her remarks in a Twitter video on Friday. She said that she was explaining that nationalism was different than what Hitler supported......

The fact that some like her think Nationalism is a good thing is either disturbing they accept it or complete willful ignorance.

Nationalism is an infection replaciing Liberty on the Right.

And yet another option, is that Nationalism if fine.

Italians should have the right, to decide enough migration has become too much.

Italy is for Italians, and those the Italians DECIDE to admit.

And Swedes, Dutch, Germans, Austrians, etc. Same for citizens of the UK & Northern Ireland, USA etc.

Nationalism, like it's big brother Globalism, is the enemy of individual liberty and is the opposite of what he intentions we were founded upon. It puts the State first and foremost above all, including rights.

There is a reason why when we see the likes of Nationalist States, like under Hitler, Franco, or Person, we see so many atrocities- if the State comes first, above all, then the individual can be trampled upon in the name of state interest. The individual exists just to serve the stateband in the whims of the state.

Are you equating "Nationalism" with "National Socialism"?  Honest question.

I consider "Nationalism" to be a belief in Nation-States being the best form of organization of peoples who share a common culture.

And then it ends up turning into tribalism.

You mean the lady that tried to co-opt Kanye "George Bush doesn't care about black people" West into the conservative movement?

That Candace Owens?

Well, sure, if Hitler never wanted to wipe out all those Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, and so on, he wouldn't be Hitler as we know him.
The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend. It may just be that I have two enemies.

Her name does not ring a bell.   Should it?

Big Trump supporter, attractive black woman. She says a lot of good things, I'm going to have to look into this. Journalist.  Media personality.

I hope she didn't step into it, it kind of sounds like she did... if the basic narrative is correct.
