Two Thessalonians walk into a bar. They sit down and say, “Beer please.” The bartender gestures to the glasses and tap, then says, “Help yourself.”

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Liberation "Theology"?

No... Something deeper... witchcraft maybe, with the gender changed... Not outright Luciferian, but I have read that phrase before... From something not-very-good. Kinda Gaia, but not that sappy...

IMHO, Liberation Theology is akin to witchcraft.

To be fair,  how many believe "God helps those who help themselves" is biblical?

Not the exact words but several verses that say that.

https://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-verses/bible-verses-about-work/
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

IMHO, Liberation Theology is akin to witchcraft.

EH...It is more of a social/political orientation of Roman Catholicism... Its origination in Lat America could lend it some vodu or atlan that I am not aware of, but on the whole it is a bastardization of Roman Catholic doctrines.

Witches have another that they serve. Other prophets, other doctrines, other god.

Not that I am defending Liberation Theology. It just ain't got the chops to be anything religious. It bends RC into Marx. Politics. Social Justice. A wolf in cheap clothing.

Looks like the dingbat got it from here:

http://www.usccb.org/beliefs-and-teachings/what-we-believe/catholic-social-teaching/care-for-creation.cfm

Quote
We show  our respect for the Creator by our stewardship of creation. Care for the earth  is not just an Earth Day slogan, it is a requirement of our faith. We are  called to protect people and the planet, living our faith in relationship with  all of God’s creation. This environmental challenge has fundamental moral and  ethical dimensions that cannot be ignored.

I loved that movie.  I know most people liked the original better, but the one with Russel Crowe is still pretty good.

I saw the original in Yuma one night.  I watched the remake in Yucca Flats.  Which was fitting, as it is the most bombed place on earth.

I was late to the party.  But it was worthy of a witty retort.  Wish I would have had one...but we try.

She's only been banking on the ignorance of the so-called "christian" left when making this statement.

Bet she never expected it to be called out like this although she's used it for over 10 years.

Bitch is gonna burn in hell for her stout and fervent defense and promotion of abortion.
Throwing our allegiances to political parties in the long run gave away our liberty.

I don't think you got the hang of those "Yo Mama" style jokes. Why don't you give it another 5 or 8 tries.
