Dems Deny Economic Boom . By Betsy McCaughey

Democrats, now the majority in the House of Representatives, are trying to turn that body into the House of Resistance. They vowed to use the State of the Union to voice their claims that the nation is in bad shape, rigged to benefit only the rich. But facts are stubborn things.

Fact No. 1: An amazing 304,000 jobs were created in January, according to Labor Department data, up from an average monthly gain of 223,000 in 2018 and 182,000 in 2017. A steady upward march. Too bad President Donald Trump couldn't invite all the new hires to attend his speech to show off the impact of Trumponomics on real people who have to put food on the table and make mortgage payments.

Fact No. 2: Even those who had given up hope of finding a job are re-entering the labor force. Employers are dropping requirements like college and prior experience. The labor participation rate for workers age 24 to 54 just hit its highest level since 2008.

There is no logic to that and I struggle to understand how they can even try to defend what they stand for.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

That's why the SOTU was so awesome. They live in this echo chamber where their constituent identity groups go back and forth with the constant bleating of doom-and-gloom.

Then someone like Trumps shines the light, and it's deer in the headlights. Then everyone realizes that for the Dems, victimization means votes, and success is the death of their party.
The Republic is lost.

There was once a time when political races were decided "on the economy".
Even James Carville recognized that.

Well.... it ain't the economy no mo'.

It's ideology now, baby.

And that's the way it's gonna be, until the coming "war" is concluded.
One way or the other...
