Four Reasons Liberals Love To Hate Tom Brady

If anything burned with the passion of a thousand suns, it was my hatred of New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady. As any University of Tennessee fan will tell you, that pretty much came with the territory in the days when Peyton Manning was shredding NFL defenses, setting record after record, and legitimately in the debate for GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). For years it was Brady and Manning, and while one could point to Brady’s Super Bowl wins, Manning’s godlike statistics and passing records at least put him in the discussion.

But now, with Brady seemingly on track to play until he’s 50, win at least 10 Super Bowls and methodically destroy every single one of Manning’s records, even this die-hard Manning fan has been forced to admit the obvious - Tom Brady is the greatest NFL player of all time, and it’s not even close.

So with Manning retired and his legacy as the second best player ever secure, there’s not a lot keeping me from shifting gears and becoming a Brady fan. But if you’re a liberal, you probably have a whole other set of reasons to hate on the New England Patriots QB. Here are just a few:

He’s white

Alot of the non-football related criticism of the Patriots is pretty revealing. This nation is becoming a pretty socially messed up place.

Everyone loves to hate Tom Brady. From Deflate Gate (and later suing the NFL) to Alex Guerrero to spygate to his snotty ego. Don't make it a liberal/conservative thing.

Snotty ego?  Everyone in the National Felon's League has an ego which strains to get through the average door.  The left hates to see a winner when they are trying to make everyone losers. tri22

The winning team, with their demonstration of the forward pass, from No. 12 to No. 11 was clearly outstanding.


The NE offensive line gave them time, the  LAdefensive line failed to get to Brady and the LA defensive backfield failed to get to  MVP Edelman.

Otherwise, boring game, boring halftime, boring commercials.

He often refuses to shake opponents hands at the end of a game and has a reputation for snubbing fans and demanding payment for autographs. He has a reputation from meet and greet type of events of refusing to give an autograph to a kid if their parents didn't pay $600 plus for the privilege.
