An assessment by a retired career FBI agent.

For this exercise, I conducted a tactical assessment for the Stone operation, using my experience as a critical incident commander as the baseline. I quickly saw how easy it is for personnel ranks to swell, considering the following "rough estimate" needs here: onscene command (1-2), arrest team (5-7), breach team (2-3), outer perimeter (4-5), surveillance team (2-4), crisis negotiator (1-2), log keeper (1), evidence response (crime scene) team members (4-5), evidence photographer (1), public affairs (1) and subject transport team (3). With Stone's residence positioned along a canal, yes, maritime assets (2) would have been stationed there, as well.

Nothing about this indicates it could be a critical incident.

Where's the F35s and A10s?

Field Arty, 105mm to 155mm, to soften up the residence before the EffBeeEye A Team went Rambo on a couple in their 70s?

The only excuse they could have had for dragging the wife outside in her skivvies would've been if she'd lunged for a drawer containing a gun or other weapon inside the building.

What? No Destroyers with Cruise Missiles?

My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.

Yeah, but those were real tier 1 operators.

Trump got some very bad advice early on. Sessions and Wray have both been horrible. Thank goodness Sessions is gone.

Do you think Barr will be any better?  The word is he, Mueller and Comey are best buds.

I would be real surprised if Barr turns out to be an improvement over the other deep-staters.   I like surprises like that.  Unexpected ones.

Barr gave assurances he would look into the actions of all the actors in the Mueller theater of the absurd, “Investigating Trump.”

Can’t wait for the sequel, “Bobby and His Boys Go to Jail.”

Do you believe those assurances?  I don't usually believe assurances from government bureaucrats and politicians.  Barr has said repeatedly he will not rein Mueller in, and that part is likely the only believable thing I've heard.

He also penned an unsolicited memorandum to Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein in June 2018 backing actions President Trump took, including the firing of James Comey, saying they were constitutionally legitimate.

Sounds like someone more interested in a fair interpretation of law, than in favoritism.

If the editorial board of the New York Times is “concerned” about William Barr, then I’m not:

Universally, anyone with a two-bit opinion around here is subject to eating it.

It’s whether they are intellectually honest enough to own it that matters.

I hope he's right too.  I'm hoping against hope my personal impression of Barr is wrong.

Since when does the arrest of any non-violent criminal warrant the dispatch of such a military operation as that used in the arrest of Roger Stone?

And further... if there was such a perceived threat of violence to warrant such a show of force, why was the CNN alerted to be present?

The whole affair stinks to high heaven.  Smells like Mueller's  "stunt justice".  It keeps him employed..

Wray is  another huge disappointment, informing me the politicized stench runs deep in these "intelligence-law enforcement" entities.
