Reports: Archaeologists find 30,000 artifacts along Detroit River

From arrowheads and pottery to stone drills, Canada's CTV reports that about 30,000 artifacts have been discovered along the banks of the Detroit River.

The discovery is the result of an archaeological dig at the site where billionaire Matty Moroun's Detroit International Bridge Co. plans to have a replacement span for the Ambassador Bridge.

Turns out the soil on the banks of the river, adjacent to what has been one of the busiest border crossings in North America, is rich with history.

Artifacts?  Maybe so.  But its more likely they found wine and whiskey bottles, discarded murder weapons, body parts from the past 20 years, automobile parts, beer cans and bottles, ship waste, dope containers, and other miscellaneous debris. :drunk:

I wonder what future archeologists will think when they find all the crack pipes there 20k years from now?
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!

What till you see their brother and sister archeologists try to explain the Congressional Record of years past.
My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.
