Reports: Archaeologists find 30,000 artifacts along Detroit River

Aleanna Siacon, Detroit Free Press Published 10:17 a.m. ET Jan. 11, 2019 | Updated 10:21 a.m. ET Jan. 11, 2019

From arrowheads and pottery to stone drills, Canada's CTV reports that around 30,000 artifacts have been discovered along the banks of the Detroit River.

The discovery is the result of an archaeological dig at the site where billionaire Matty Maroun's Detroit International Bridge Co. plans to have a replacement span for the Ambassador Bridge.

Turns out the soil on the banks of the river, adjacent to what has been one of the busiest border crossings in North America, is rich with history.

How many stolen cars and bicycles did they find?

How many bodies wrapped in chains or with cement shoes?
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!
