Ocasio-Cortez doubles down on accusation that Trump is racist

By Morgan Gstalter - 01/08/19 06:21 PM EST

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday repeated her accusation that President Trump is racist, saying that should make everyone “uncomfortable.”

The newly elected congresswoman first took a jab at Trump during an interview with CBS's "60 Minutes," saying there is “no question” that Trump is racist.

She elaborated on her claims on Twitter, listing instances she viewed to have racial undertones.

“The President defended Neo-Nazis who murdered a woman in Charlottesville. The Dept of Justice sued him for not renting to Black tenants,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “He launched his campaign by calling Mexicans ‘rapists.’ He banned Muslims.”

She'll never shut up, will she?

This is neither news nor "doubling down".  "Racist" as used in real-world Newspeak (which contrary to Orwell's fictional language destroys language not by narrowing the meaning of words, but by making words cease to have fixed meanings) can mean any of (1) its meaning in English, (2) a person who takes a political stance the left fancies harms racial or ethnic minorities, whether or not there is any rational basis for the left's view on the matter, (3) a non-Muslim who accurately reports aspects of Islamic doctrine or Sharia law that the left finds embarassing, or (4) a white person without regard to his or her views on anything.  It is beyond a doubt that Trump satisfies (2) and (4).  Of course the point of this multiplication of meanings is to attach the opprobrium with which most civilized persons view those satisfying the English definition to anyone the left tars with the word on the basis of the other meanings.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.
