A document that is sealed from public view was placed in a New York federal court vault in a criminal case against President Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen.
The filing comes a week after Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison for financial crimes and for campaign finance violations related to hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal.
Cohen also pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about an aborted plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. That case was filed by special counsel Robert Mueller, who is continuing to investigate Trump’s presidential campaign and its ties to Russians.

If it is secret how does anyone know this happened?

This is confusing. They make it sound like it is a sealed indictment against Cohen. Since he already entered a guilty plea to multiple charges and been sentenced, it only makes sense that ‘Individual-1’ has been indicted and they are keeping it under seal, until he’s out of office.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

  • I hate nothing, not even OUR President
Maybe it was Cohen's daddy that killed JFK.
No government in the 6,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

There are no super secret indictments. Trump is either under indictment or he is not. That is why this story is total bullshit. There isn't one ounce of corroboration that there is anything here.

Haven't the Friends of Q been saying there were going to be secret indictments?  I think they're right, just got the wrong people.

Well you can't hold onto indictments for years. We have a right to a speedy trial. Some prosecutor pulling this shit out of his ass 2 years after an event as a gotcha is unconstitutional.

Don’t tell the Qanon crowd that. They swear Trump has 25K sealed indictments for his military tribunals.  On a more serious note, sealed indictments happen often, for the purpose is listed below. It’s been discussed this might be attempted, to avoid the statute expiration.

Prosecutors generally use sealed indictments in three situations. The first is when they fear a suspect, upon hearing of his indictment, might destroy evidence before his arrest. The second is when they fear the suspect might flee. Neither of those applies to Trump. Even though he has the use of two well-equipped planes (Air Force One & Trump Force One), he is unlikely to flee the US and has no place to hide. But the third reason could be a factor: when the statute of limitations might expire before the suspect can be arraigned on the indictment.

It doesn’t sound like an indictment, and it might contain sensitive information that is necessary to the case but cannot be publicly disclosed.
