Schiff calls on Flynn to testify before House Intelligence Committee

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee called on Michael Flynn to testify after the former national security adviser asked a federal judge to postpone his sentencing until he fully cooperates with investigators.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), who is poised to lead the intel panel starting next month, said Tuesday that it is important for Flynn to cooperate with federal prosecutors as well as his committee.

"After the judge acknowledged the seriousness of Flynn’s conduct, he has allowed Trump’s former National Security Advisor to defer sentencing until after he has fully cooperated with the government," Schiff wrote on Twitter. "It will be important that Flynn also cooperate with our Committee and testify."

This could be an advantage if Flynn had some fight in him, but apparently the railroad job will proceed apace.
