African Americans inability to break from the democrat party.  Never in the history of humankind has a group of people done so little with so much that was afforded to them because they bought into the lies of the new plantation owners.

To answer that question you kinda have to go into a fantasy land where humans aren't naturally violent and greedy. An educated and unified humanity that didn't need to blow countless trillions on military and other things would unlock scientific wonders at an unreal pace. Hate and violence is my answer.
