Third Trump Indictment Over January 6 Could Drop As Soon as Tomorrow

Matt Vespa
July 24, 2023

Former President Donald Trump received a letter from the Department of Justice indicating that he is the target of an investigation into January 6. Special Counsel Jack Smith, who has already indicted Trump over alleged mishandling of classified materials, is also heading up the investigation into the Capitol riot. The classified document trial is set to begin on May 20, 2024, but an indictment over January 6 could come as soon as tomorrow, according to CBS News:

Next Monday, if he lives that long.

So, the indictment drops on Monday.

Who would of thought Trump would again have his own subsection on TBR... The first election of Trump got a special (gloves off) section, now we have section where because we didn't vet Trump the first (and second) go around, we just constantly wade in mud (and other stuff) due having this big mouth idiot in power (for one freaking term).

Can someone just make him go away, pretty please. I never cared for WWE wrestling, but I never expected it to be played out for years and years in real life. We got Vince McMahon but without a shut off valve.

Latest indictment accusing Trump of purposely dumping evidence and the evidence seems strong.   Essentially the exact same thing Hillary was accused of. The difference being the DOJ refused to charge Hillary.
Trump's comments about running for President from jail just could be a possibility.

Clearly a crime if we did it, but I'm not sure would get any jail time out of it.   The documents appear to all have been recovered regardless, so I'd normally expect a hefty fine and some probation.  But, if the judge is sufficiently politicized, who knows?

I knew who Trump was when I voted for him in 2016.  I voted for him to blow-up the Republ-cratic party establishment.  He disappointed me.

He would have signed anything the GOP Congress put on his desk, especially if it had his name on it. (Think the governor in "Blazing Saddles".)

The current regime of GOP Reps and Seantors did not push their advantge Jan, 2017, to Jan, 19.  A party that lets such opportunity to slip through their fingers does not deserve to be in the majority.

Lemme know when the GOP has a real legislative agenda - when they want to GOVERN as adults.
