Dinesh D'Souza says Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Is the 'Stupidest Person Elected to Public Office'
By Dan Cancian
11/26/18

Dinesh D’Souza has described congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez  as the “stupidest person elected to public office.”

The far-right author and filmmaker launched the scathing attack on the newly elected representative from New York’s 14th  Congressional District in response to her decision to defend refugees traveling from Central America toward the U.S. ...

Her comments were reported by a number of media outlets, including The Daily Caller, which tweeted that Ocasio-Cortez had compared “migrant caravan to Jews fleeing Holocaust”.

D’Souza replied to the tweet with a direct attack to the 29-year-old, who last month became the youngest woman elected to Congress .

“Until now I thought Joe Biden was the stupidest person elected to public office,” he tweeted.

“Not anymore!”  ...

He's right, but the fact is she is the voice to the biggest generation of people ever to populate the United States......the Millennials. If you think she is a blip on the radar, you are mistaken. There will be more illiterate Socialists joining her in the coming years. Enjoy!

D'Souza is correct. She is incredibly stupid and ignorant of history, civics, economics and so many other things, but that will not stop her preaching her nonsense to other ignoramuses.

Wait, didn't we have a Congress critter referring to our Constitution as 500 years old?  And didn't that Congress critter talk about the time we landed a man on Mars?

(Maybe these are fake quotes.  But if they aren't, they surely take the cake.)

Sheila Jackson Lee both times.

In 1997, while on a trip to the Mars Pathfinder operations center in California, Jackson Lee confused the planet Mars with Earth's own moon, asking whether the Pathfinder had succeeded in taking a picture of the flag planted on Mars by Neil Armstrong in 1969

Her statements, as picked up the The Washington Free Beacon: “Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a Constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not.”

Ms. Lee is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Virginia Law School.

We have a long history of electing idiots over the years.  Usually one or two at a time over a decade or so....  But they do seem to me multiplying exponentially.  Which could create a problem if they hit about 20% of the congress.

Sheila JACKson Lee is an affirmative action classic case who probably never even found a classroom. A prime example of the waste of an education that some thinking person could have had.

@mountaineer

I would love for someone to ask him if he thinks she is dumber than Cynthia McKinley and Goober Gore.

I'm not even sure such a thing is possible.

She doesn't scare me. She is only one vote, unlike the incredibly stupid horde that elected her. That's the scary part. NEVER underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I dunno.  The democrats have elected some phenomenally stupid people before.  She’s in the running, but I don’t think we can call it for her yet.

Stupidest person elected to Congress?  Patty Murray gets my vote.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

-Ayn Rand-
