Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz predicted on Sunday that special counsel Robert Mueller's final report for the federal Russia investigation will be calamitous for President Trump.

"I think the report is going to be devastating to the president. I know the president's team is already working on a response to the report," Dershowitz said on ABC News' "This Week." "At some point when the report's made public, and that's a very hard question considering the new attorney general who has the authority to decide when and under what circumstance to make it public, it will be made public probably with a response alongside."

But Dershowitz, who has been critical of Mueller's probe, clarified that he did not think the special counsel's conclusions after the more than yearlong Russia inquiry would lead to criminal repercussions for Trump.

"When I say 'devastating,' I mean it's going to paint a picture that's going to be politically very devastating. I still don't think it's going to make a criminal case because collusion is not criminal," he said. "What I think Mueller is going to do if he's smart is he's not going to take the chance on being rebutted. He's just going to lay out just the facts."

I think he took a lot of crap from his liberal friends, when he "defended" Trump early on. Since then he has been more 'nuanced' and balanced, in his legal analysis.

I'm sure Trump will be "furious"...lol. Four to Five months ago, almost every headline in the Democrat media led with, 'Trump is "furious!"...' about this or that or something else. It became a joke. When a headline popped up to effect of, 'Trump is disappointed that the bill did not pass.' The internet gurus jumped on it immediately demanding why he is not 'furious!' hahahaha ... it really was stupid, and funny.

But I doubt they are done yet. Eventually, Trump will become 'furious' once again, and Mueller is a likely candidate to revive the meme.

Except that the Cohen case was referred to SDNY and not handled by him. Who else did he refer to them for potential prosecution? Oh, yeah....Tony Podesta. That’s the same guy many here swore would receive immunity from Mueller in exchange for his testimony against Manafort. That decade old stuff brought to trial? Judge Ellis insisted on knowing why that was relevant, received unredacted information about it, and subsequently agreed it was germane to the Russian meddling purview. As far as process crimes like lying go, remind me.....why exactly was Flynn fired, again?
