On Wednesday night’s “Hannity” guest-hosted by Judge Jeanine Pirro, former Obama economic adviser Austan Goolsbee criticized Donald Trump for allegedly claiming that former White House occupant Barack Hussein Obama “was not born in this country,” an oblique reference to the “birther” moniker coined for Trump — and anyone — who questioned Obama’s origins and life narrative.

The interview, shared with radio host Larry Elder, began with Pirro’s reference to Obama’s address at an Obama Foundation “summit” on Monday wherein he said that certain attitudes held by Americans are preventing the “remaking” of the world as he would like to see it.  Those attitudes include “racism” and “mommy issues,” among others, Obama contended.

His remarks are considered by many to have been referring to Trump without mentioning his name.

In its reportage of Obama’s remarks, NBC News raised the same issue as Goolsbee, concluding its article with, “Trump, who led the birther conspiracy crusade against Obama when he was in office, has continued to use Obama as a foil while occupying the Oval Office.”

Last Friday, Obama birth certificate lead investigator Mike Zullo observed in an interview with radio host Carl Gallups that it is Obama supporters, including Obama’s wife Michelle, who continue to bring up the fact that many Americans questioned, and continue to question, whether or not Obama was born in Hawaii. Zullo’s 5+-year investigation, conducted under the authority of then-Maricopa County Sheriff Joseph Arpaio, concluded that the “long-form” birth certificate posted at whitehouse.gov in 2011 is a “computer-generated forgery.”

In her new book, “Becoming,” released last week, Michelle Obama said she “would never forgive” Trump’s very public questioning of her husband’s constitutional eligibility to serve as president which arguably acted as the catalyst for the White House to post the long-form image on April 27, 2011.
