In Case You Missed It Dept.:

Fox News star Tucker Carlson's home was targeted by anarchists Wednesday who pounded on his front door. It's been a violent week for reporters. There was almost a riot this morning at the Anger Management Clinic when CNN's Jim Acosta pulled into Alec Baldwin's parking space.

Jim Acosta's White House press pass was revoked Wednesday after he grabbed an intern who was trying to get the mike out of his hand while he was berating Trump. He's now out of a job as CNN's White House Correspondent. Leave it to a Democrat to lose his job during a labor shortage.

Southern California had a bar shooting days after a Florida yoga class shoot-up, followed by the synagogue shoot-out and the package bomber. Chicago is starting to feel upstaged. A huge caravan was just spotted crossing the U.S. border headed south for Honduras to escape all the violence.

Election Day on Tuesday included many state ballot measures that outlawed archaic laws still on the books. A few of these measures drew corporate attention. Colorado voted to abolish slavery as a form of punishment, taking Colorado out of the running for Amazon's second headquarters site.

Hollywood celebrities like Oprah and Jane Fonda failed to get the Democrat elected governor of Georgia. Star power didn't work in the South. When Taylor Swift endorsed the Democratic Senate candidate in Tennessee, they should have known that things never end well with her and men

The Wall Street Journal said the mid-term elections Tuesday turned out to be a draw between parties and interest groups. Democrats won the House but Republicans increased their hold on the Senate. California was able to ban plastic straws but most people use rolled up dollar bills anyway.

The L.A. Times called for a more humane attitude toward the migrant caravans heading for the US border. It fell on deaf ears. Some teachers in Idaho got in trouble when they dressed up for a Halloween school party as Trump's border wall and the Latino students just can't get over it.

President Trump awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Babe Ruth and Elvis Presley at the White House Friday. It was a brilliant move. Trump finally figured out a way to get a sports champion and a member of the entertainment industry not to refuse an invitation to the White House.

President Trump's visit to France was capped by a stern lecture from the French President on his nationalism. Trump's trip to France was the typical American tourist experience. He landed in Paris, ate some French food, changed plans due to the crappy weather, was insulted, then went home.

France's foreign minister insulted Trump and angered the British when he suggested Europe form its own army and empire. They always talk a good game. French fries were invented in the U.S., but we named them after the French because after you eat them, you feel fat and defeated.

Nice Job Pookie
In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.-Woody Allen
If God invented marathons to keep people from doing anything more stupid, the triathlon must have taken him completely by surprise.

For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
