Driver of 11 undocumented immigrants pleads guilty to federal charge in Kansas

A Mexican citizen pleaded guilty on Monday to unlawfully driving himself and 10 other undocumented immigrants from Arizona to Kansas, U.S. Attorney for Kansas Stephen McAllister said Tuesday in a news release.
Alex They Maya-Dimas, 37, a citizen of Mexico, pleaded guilty to one count of transporting undocumented immigrants, McAllister said.
In his plea, Maya-Dimas admitted driving a 2002 GMC Yukon SUV when a Ford County sheriff’s deputy stopped him.
