President Trump to rally for Senator Cruz next Monday in Houston
KBTX TV, Oct 15, 2018

HOUSTON, Tex. (KBTX)-  With just mere weeks away from a critical midterm election, President Donald Trump is set to appear in Houston for a key battleground rally next Monday.

Trump's camp announced the stop at NRG Arena on Monday, Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m., according to KTRK-TV in Houston.

People interested in attending can register on the Trump campaign website.

In recent months, Trump has pledged his support to former rival Sen. Ted Cruz, who is in a close re-election race with Democratic challenger Beto O'Rourke. Trump vowed to hold a Cruz rally at the biggest venue possible within the state.

I woulda thought he woulda chosen Kyle Field with its larger capacity of 102,995.

What? Trump is doing a rally in state... he went out of state (Florida) to suppos'ably hold a rally for us.

Nonsense.  The President will fill the larger stadium during *his* reelection campaign.

Cruz has been ahead in every poll taken to date.  Trump will help grow the difference, no doubt.  But Cruz has always been winning this race in spite of the massive money dumped into it by democrats.

They always pick one statewide election to try and break the loosing streak.   They haven't won one in decades.

Except ... the media is reporting it as Trump is holding a rally for Cruz in a closet.  It maybe liberal media hype, but report after report and station after station is making a tremendous deal out of the size of stadium Trump booked for his rally for Cruz.

Yes Trump normally always packs a stadium and he's done so in the past couple of visits ... why oh why would he not do so for the hottest contest in the mid terms??

BTW haven't been able to find any stats on Cruz's past rallies by the numbers.
