Trust him with what? Kanye is the one taking the risk @XenaLee --- he's one heartbeat away from being a persona non grata -- and worse. Especially after this:
Perceptive comment
@Right_in_Virginia. And so true, because all of the liberals have turned against him.
Having a popular Black icon go all out for Trump is absolutely terrifying the democrats. They haven't been this scared since Trump nominated Brett Kavanaugh, throwing their precious liberal majority on the court out of balance.
If Kanye West causes even a fraction of the Black vote that they do nothing for, but totally count on, to start actually thinking about what is in their best interest, it will be a death knell for democrats. They have to have the votes from minority groups that they totally ignore after elections.
This has sent a real fear throughout their cores. They've sent every Black leader they can find out to say Kanye is a has-been or a never was; that he's stupid and talentless.... it is quite the sight.
I gotta say, I was amused to watch the Trump/Kanye act. Trump does have great aplomb; he did not flinch at anything. And, in spite of the incoherence, Kanye did throw some pearls of wisdom into the mix, talking about the importance of Black fathers, for example.
I see no point whatever in our joining them in Kanye bashing. Yes, he is volatile and yes, he may change his mind about things, but right now, he is a crazy blessing.
