The snake was spotted in a Woodbridge, Virginia, resident’s backyard.

Officials with the Virginia Wildlife Management and Control took to Facebook to share “extremely rare photos” of a two-headed copperhead snake.

The snake was spotted last week in a Woodbridge, Va. resident’s backyard, according to the department. In addition to the photos, wildlife management officials shared a video of the two-headed serpent twisting and wriggling inside a container.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Virginia being so close to D.C., it probably is employed by the government.

Am I being paranoid again or does this not closely correspond to when @Right_in_Virginia came back?

Super-creepy.

These suckers are the reason why we can't go barefoot in October in our parts (backyard).  Cooler weather forces them out of the bramble to sun.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Yet another reason to love the Rockies...
No copperhead, no moccasin, no coral... Not even rattlers around here.
