Queer freshmen greatly outnumber conservatives at the university, according to a survey

A Yale Daily News survey of freshmen students at that university found that more students of the class of 2022 identify on the LGBTQ spectrum than as conservative, and that queer freshmen even outnumber other sizable demographics in the class, such as Protestants and Catholics.

The paper’s survey, the results of which are composed of 864 respondents, or just over one-half of the freshman class, found that only nine percent of respondents identified as “somewhat conservative,” with one percent identifying as “very conservative.” LGBTQ respondents, on the other hand, greatly outnumberd conservatives in total: According to the survey, “nearly 5 percent [of respondents] identify as gay and just over 9 percent as bisexual or transsexual. Three percent opted not to answer, and the remaining 8 percent identified as asexual, ace spectrum or questioning their sexual orientation.”

Oh, the freshmen down at Yale get no tail...
Oh, the freshmen down at Yale get no tail...
So to satisfy their yen, they go out with other men
Oh, the freshmen down at Yale get no tail...

They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Well of course they do. I would too. If I was in college today I would be the most Liberal queeer guy on campus. Live in the woman's dorm. Use the woman's locker room. Those used to be fantasies of mine, when I was young and in college. Plus all the benefits and special treatment. Special programs and scholarships.

I would claim that I am a gay Native American Kenyan escaping persecution by the White man. Maybe I could even be President. By the way, I read something about this very thing. The wildest most crazy Liberal hippy after graduation suddenly become more conservative. Once they have a job, a wife, a mortgage, children, once they get hit hard with real reality and taxes, suddenly utopia doesn't seem so appealing when they have to start paying for it. Also, there are underground Christian and Republican groups on many campuses who meet in secret like they do in China and North Korea so they will not be exposed as "the enemy of the State" to the college they attend.

But seriously, in the fascist Liberal environment of most campuses today, you are just about 'forced' to say you are LGBTQRSTXYZ. If you don't fall into some 'protected class' then you are fair game for anyone and everyone, including the professors and the school administration, to persecute you until you either 'convert' or leave the school. With Liberalism everything is lockstep. Liberalism is all about conformity in the extreme.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

Mandatory college uniform in 2020. They want to make clothes equal and uniform to prevent disparaging people who can't afford nice clothes.
It starts with uniforms. Then they start assigning individual ranks and departments. We all know where it goes from there.

Is really so surprising? Identifying as a Conservative on any campus gets you verbal abuse and attacks by staff and other students, while identifying as one of the lefts chosen gets you perks and special treatment.

Yale's long had a reputation as the "gay Ivy".   And, rest assured, forty years ago only a relative handful were conservatives.   Although, interestingly enough, in the Yale Political Union the conservatives have always been factionalized - if I'm not mistaken they're divided these days between the Conservatives, the Tories and the Party of the Right.   Years ago the POR was the furthest right, and attracted both libertarians and monarchists,  with an emphasis on debate.   The Tories were the federalists, and more into pragmatic activism.  And the Conservatives, who are a more recent group,  apparently now attract the social conservatives.

Queer freshmen greatly outnumber conservatives at the university, according to a survey

Three percent opted not to answer, and the remaining 8 percent identified as asexual, ace spectrum or questioning their sexual orientation.”

This combined demographic outnumbers even Protestants and Catholics, whom the survey identified as 16 percent and 15 percent of the incoming class, respectively.

A 2018 Gallup poll estimated that 4.5 percent of all Americans identified as LGBTQ.

Former teen star Fujikawa comes out as gay

Golf Channel

Once the youngest player in U.S. Open history, Tadd Fujikawa became one of the first male professional golfers to come out as gay when he made the announcement this week in a social media post.

Fujikawa wrote on Instagram that he deliberately timed his announcement with world suicide prevention day, noting that he "spent way too long pretending, hiding and hating who I was."

"I've been back and forth for a while about opening up about my sexuality," Fujikawa wrote. "I thought that I didn't need to come out because it doesn't matter if anyone knows. But I remember how much other's stories have helped me in my darkest times to have hope."  ...

Now 27, Fujikawa wrote that he has "struggled with my mental health for many years" but hopes that by coming out he can serve as an inspiration for others in the LGBTQ community.  ...
No kidding. He's "come out," but I suspect he'll find  mental illness is still an issue.
