United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is proposing: (1) to design and construct approximately 25 miles of levee wall system in Hidalgo County, Texas; and (2) design and construct approximately eight (8) miles of border wall system in Starr County, Texas with an option for an additional four (4) miles. CBP is seeking input on potential impacts to the environment, culture, commerce, and quality of life for the communities located near the sites where construction is taking place.
