Three Miami Dolphins players silently protested during the national anthem on Sunday ahead of their game against the Tennessee Titans in what were the first demonstrations of the 2018 National Football League season.

Miami Dolphins wide receivers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson knelt during the national anthem, which according to ESPN reporter Cameron Wolfe is in protest of social injustice and police brutality. Their teammate Robert Quinn raised a fist.

I have no idea what any NFL team does or doesn't do nowadays.  Quit watching them entirely a couple of years ago and haven't had a single withdrawal symptom.

They are playing with fire. How much of a moron can a person be that he would start protesting his own livelihood. I'm going to go to work for Walmart and then wear a Target shirt to work everyday to 'protest' Walmart. Yea, of course, that sounds perfectly reasonable...if I want to become unemployed that is.

Regardless of what they thought they were protesting when all this started, it has now evolved into a protest of the NFL itself. After the NFL told them to knock off 'protesting' while on the clock, fans have responded negatively, viewership and revenues are down, and they continue to do it anyway. Now this act is a protest of the NFL, the fans, and America as a nation. It no longer has anything to do with Cops or racism or whatever they currently claim it is for. Now they are just doing it for pure spite against the country and people that made them all millionaires.

Looks to me like these kneeling players are working with/for the radical left that is trying to destroy and/or eliminate every American tradition, football being just one of them.  It's working.

Yes. That seems to be the case. Football has just become an area of politics now, which is distasteful.

By destroying football they are destroying themselves and all the people who would have come after them. Furthermore, their so called protest against 'racism' as they claim is going to hurt Black people way more than it will affect Whites, since football was one of the avenues that Black people enjoyed and became very rich from it. In the military we called this behavior 'shitting in your own bed'. The sergeant was yelling, "You don't shit where you live dammit!" These guys didn't get the memo.

They are not bright enough to see that they are being used by the far left.  They are merely tools and pawns for implementing the leftist agenda.  And yeah, if they help the left destroy football, they are hurting mostly their fellow blacks who have become rich (and famous) by playing pro-football.  It's so stupid it's surreal.  Much like many other things have become ... especially since the Obamanation.
