British singer Paul McCartney has claimed that he once he saw God during a drug a trip while he was still part of legendary rock band The Beatles.

Speaking in an interview with the British  Sunday Times newspaper about his spiritual life, the 76-year-old singer said he believes in “something higher.” He referenced a time when he took Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) with a few associates, including the art dealer and gallery owner Robert Fraser.

“We were immediately nailed to the sofa. And I saw God, this amazing towering thing, and I was humbled,” McCartney explained. “And what I’m saying is, that moment didn’t turn my life around, but it was a clue.”

Cheech: Bob, what made you drop out?

Chong: A lot of people think it was the four hundred acid trips I took, y'know.

Cheech: Well, what was it really, Bob?

Chong: One day I played Black Sabbath at 78 speed, man.

Cheech: And then what happened?

Chong: I saw God, man.

Cheech: You saw God...well, that sounds like true enlightenment to me, Bob.

I once saw James Taylor on a flight from Martha's Vineyard to Boston. No mention of God, but I understand James had seen fire and rain.

And then Paul turned around and saw Yoko, and thought he saw Satan.

Oh Yeah?

Well I HEARD McCartny and his mates on my car radio, more than once, and immediately changed the station.

If it had actually been God he saw, it would most certainly have turned his life around.
My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.
