CHIANG RAI, Thailand (Reuters) - Twelve boys and their assistant soccer coach have been found alive by rescuers inside a Thai cave complex nine days after they went missing, Chiang Rai province’s governor said on Monday.

Getting them out of there is NOT going to be easy.
Look at this graphic:


At least 2-2.5 miles of the "escape route" are UNDERWATER.
How many of these boys can swim?
How many have ever used diving equipment?
Combine that, and....?

I'm not a betting man, but if I was, I don't think I'd be bettin' on this one... (sigh)

That graphic really brings it into perspective @Fishrrman . I have been following this story from the beginning. I was shocked they were found alive. Getting them out is going to be very tricky. I'm praying they don't have a GIANT monsoon that floods the rest of the cave.
