What is wrong with Nancy Pelosi?

As the noose seems to be tightening on her prospects to return to party power after the November elections, the House Minority Leader stumbled over words, suffered brain freezes and stared at reporters during a Thursday press conference.

By the end of this year, Nancy Pelosi will not be able to remember her own name. It is getting worse and worse by the month.

She is a liberal no doubt and certainly not one of my favorite people, but as time goes on I find her obvious mental decline very sad.  I'm beginning to notice some tremors as well.

Yes, you would think that a family member or a close friend would try to persuade her to step down.  She's had a long political career and it's really time to step down with dignity and grace.

Perhaps she needs a 'job' to keep her mind active, but the decline is becoming too obvious.  I wish her and her family well.  Dementia is an evil beast.

I knew of someone who drank heavily and when he started to decline, we all assumed it was due to the drinking problem only to find out he was suffering from cancer!

Did you notice the rather obvious slurring? She has a problem speaking in general but especially with any word that has an 'S' in it. This is how drunk people speak because alcohol affects the cognitive and nervous systems. Coordination, including speech, is impaired. I doubt she is drinking, but rather is showing signs of a nervous system disorder of some kind.

I've thought for a while she has some form of dementia,  perhaps in an early stage. Alcohol abuse is just a bonus.

Well if she’s asking people to “repoot” in order that she can understand them I think her problem has more to do with her colon taking over her cognative facilities.
