A long-awaited report by the Justice Department inspector general on the handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation by the FBI and Justice Department is expected to focus on former FBI chief James Comey and the decisions he made during the course of the Clinton investigation, CBS News' Paula Reid reports.

The findings, which are slated to be released Thursday afternoon, describe Comey as "insubordinate" while also criticizing then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch for weak leadership, Reid also reports.

Comey merely insubordinate?  Lynch merely a weak leader?  Ah yes..... just as I suspected.  If this article is accurate... a watered-down, milk-toast version of a "report" of what actually happened here.

The truth is... Comey, a hyper-partisan political hack, used the FBI against a presidential contender of the opposition party (abuse of power, at the least), while letting Hillary skate for her criminal deeds... and Lynch .... at the least.... leaked info to Bubba Clinton about his wife's legal situation (nice of her to give him a heads-up).  The report is yet another anti-climactic let-down in a series of let-downs when it comes to bringing Democrats to justice.

Ho-friggin-hum.  Nothing ever changes.  Not even now.... with the GOP in ""power"".

This is just a teaser and it's from CBS. The IG report won't have the robust denunciations that we would enjoy so terms like 'insubordinate' may be more significant than they seem.

"In other words, if the IG report faults Comey, Lynch or others, it is not expected to second-guess their decisions not to press criminal charges against Clinton."

James Comey is a made man in the Clinton crime syndicate.  He was going to do whatever it took to protect his benefactors!

Denunciations ain't good enough. There have to be prosecutions.

If the democrats take the house they're gonna start impeachment proceedings with NOTHING at all.

Its time heads actually rolled.

And I don't find those terms significant at all.  Rather underwhelming, in fact.  (as I suspected)

Call me a pessimist if you will.... but I never thought this "report" would yield anything, much less any chance for real justice.  I've given up on that false hope.

Oh heavens no.... can't be second-guessing anything the Democrats (including the pretenda Republican RINOs) have done while allowing other Democrats to commit treason and break the law with impunity.  Can't have that!

I completely agree but doubt seriously that they will!

The Clintons are already declaring that Comey threw the election to Trump.

Yep!  That's their MO.  Accuse others of exactly what you are doing!

First off this is CBS news reporting on something that hasn't been released yet. You expect them to give you straight reporting? Secondly this is a government report. It isn't going to be filled with spicy adjectives. It will be full of boring case by case language.

I doubt it as well, Bigun.

And I do not think the GOP has any idea how badly their lack of action here will damage what little faith a great many Americans have in the federal government. We know too much already.

I have said before and will say again that lack of any real action on this matter ends this republic as we have known it.
