Wanda Sykes says she’s parting ways with the “Roseanne” revival after star Roseanne Barr made a racially-charged joke about Valerie Jarrett on Twitter Tuesday.

“I will not be returning to @RoseanneOnABC,” the consulting producer on the ABC comedy tweeted, not long after Barr wrote on the social media platform that if the Muslim Brotherhood and the “Planet of the Apes” “had a baby,” it would be Jarrett.

Jarrett, who is African American with no ties to the Sunni Muslim organization, was a longtime senior advisor to the Obama White House, and was constantly the subject of criticism by the right-wing.

ABC cancels show

ABC says it’s cancelling “Roseanne” following an “abhorrent” tweet from the show’s star.

ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey announced Tuesday: “Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”

The decision came hours after star Roseanne Barr drew sharp condemnation for a tweet on former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, whom she compared to a child of "The Planet of the Apes" and the Muslim Brotherhood.

What a shame!  She 'tweets' some truth and immediately her show is dumped!  Yet it's ok if Hollywood speaks out against Trump at one of their award shows or SNL or another talk show mocks or speaks out against the Trumps!  Liberal double standard at its best.
