This morning there is an Intellectual property panel for the AI Forum at the C2 Montreal

The Key highlight – Chinese Universities are patenting everyones research from AI journals. Not just their own research but everyone else’s research where the researchers did not file for patent protection. The main countries in the world have first to file patent systems and not first to invent.
