The ironic part is that you go on to read 2 through 5, and it's all "you're not working hard enough, you don't have anything to offer anyone, you're not superficial enough." He contradicts himself in his own list. Hawkins has been writing listicles like this for years. They're usually not Buzzfeed-level terrible, but when it comes to life advice, he's not good at it. Of course, surprisingly few people are.
