The queen sitting a row back is interesting. I wonder if there was a meaning to that choice versus the front row. I assume it is probably a message that the day isn't about her.

Okay, can we talk?  I thought the procession down the aisle was a bit disjointed and rushed.  I thought she was still climbing the stairs when I realized she was half way down the aisle.  The kids looked as confused as I felt.

@Right_in_Virginia

I had to go back and watch.  It did look a little rushed.  It almost looked like Harry was pulling her down the aisle, lol.

Yep, she’s packed in pretty tight.  What’s her cup size, FFF?

I can't believe my wife got up at 3am to watch this. She is so silly, she had cake and champagne and even wore one of those silly hats British women wear. The cats and I want back to sleep.

I didn't care enough to watch but was there a Muslim component to the event?

They didn't pause ... for the drama moment.  She just came on the stairs and scooted down the aisle.  I guess she was too close to let this slip away now!

I bet she is thinking that no way in hell that Chuckles will be King.

She is already handing off formal responsibility to him.  All of us in the peanut gallery really can't discount that he is her son, not just heir. I suspect she is far more loyal to him than we can imagine.

When I was at the Gym, I saw some pictures of the American Flag. Very nice of them.

They played the US Anthem during the carriage ride out of the church. Teared this old guy up.

What a bunch of nonsense over some ne'er do well and his trailer trash broad.

@Frank Cannon ... so cynical, Frank.  I actually like Harry, but he's making a huge mistake.  This gal is Trouble.

My wife had a nice point. With all the deal in the news, death, violence, war; it is nice to have a big of romance and escapism. For us blokes it is sports, for women, it is this. Now I'm off to watch the news Deadpool for some escapism.

I love all the pageantry...but I am not getting up at 4am to watch it..I am sure I'll have plenty of opportunities to see it all

I could have stayed up late to watch it, but it will be shown over and over again.

WINDSOR, England (AP) — Prince Charles will walk Meghan Markle down the aisle at the royal wedding — stepping in after the father of the bride fell ill just days before the ceremony.

Kensington Palace said Friday that Markle's future father-in-law, the heir to the British throne, would walk the American actress down the aisle at St. George's Chapel in Windsor for her wedding to Prince Harry. The palace says he "is pleased to be able to welcome Ms. Markle to the Royal Family in this way."

Poor Wallis Simpson.  She lived in the wrong century.

Maybe not. Princess Diana  was the proverbial virgin Princess goody two shoes and she basically turned out to be a an adulterous  slut.

Meghan I think is going to surprise everyone because she has already sowed her wild oats.. That's my prediction anyway.

I like her dress.  It's tasteful but I don't think it's all that spectacular.  She did okay with eschewing the horrible over-production and keeping it simple.
