President Trump on Thursday asserted that his administration is following through on his pledge to “drain the swamp.”

“From the day I took the oath of office, I’ve been fighting to drain the swamp, and sometimes it may not look like it, but believe me we are draining the swamp,” Trump said during remarks at the White House about tax reform.

“And there are a lot of unhappy people,” he continued. “You can see that everyday. All you have to do is turn on the news. Every time you see me hit, you know that I’m draining the swamp. And people don’t like it.”

Trump repeatedly vowed during the 2016 campaign and since taking office that he would "drain the swamp" and rid Washington, D.C., of lifelong political insiders and ethical quandaries.

   Sure seems to me that the swamp is getting a tad deeper.  As for the tweets; I really wish they'd just stop.  Childish, foolish and unnecessary.

No ... I've pretty much known how deep the swamp is.  If Trump really had an interest in draining the swamp he would have gotten rid of three of his biggest swamp creatures a long time ago; Mueller, Rosenstein and Sessions.

What you're still not seeing is the Pinocchio nose that keeps growing on Trump.

You just might want to try taking a walk on this lovely spring day; I hear that fresh air can help clear the mind of some of the cobwebs.

I've seen some minor leakage but no large scale draining to date.  Still hopeful but losing it fast.

Sorry ... I'm not a twitter, facebook, linkedin groupie.  Yes, your point is made; that is one way to connect with his followers, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's being truthful and I sure don't believe or trust the MSM either.

No, not over night, but certainly some progress.  You can't continue to do what isn't working and expect different results and then to proclaim success shows arrogance and lack of integrity; especially  when what you've been saying is merely a tap dance accompanied by nothing more than a lot of noise.
