Jemele Hill Calls American Flag and Anthem Respect a ‘Dog Whistle’
by Accuracy In Media on March 23, 2018

Jemele Hill is no stranger to controversy. She is employed by ESPN and has railed against President Donald Trump in the past.

This time, Hill commented on the University of Mississippi’s basketball coach, Kermit Davis, who told the media that his players will stand and respect the American national anthem. Her comment was the following:

“Woooo that’s a dogggggggggggg whistle. And ole boy probably should worry about that confederate flag more than anything else.”

She's an out of work hack. She had to work really hard to get gone from ESPMS. No one cares what she whistles.

She is a dog and is irreversibly an idiot.

Like virtually all the black sports people on ESPN, Hill is a racialist. She sees everything through a racial lens. Michael Wilbon is another one and has said as much.
And to be sure, there are quite a few whites on ESPN who think the same way.  Or they're too chicken to oppose their black co-workers.  A lot of virtue signaling goes on there.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
Jemele and her fellow travelers only respect the thug life of being a govt protected predator exempt from all laws, taking what they want and grifting for the rest.
The Republic is lost.

Jemele Hill will leave ESPN Sept. 1 in an “amicable departure/buyout,” according to Jim Miller
Hill talked about wanting to do work behind the camera in news as well as sports back in July, but was still under contract for two years.
By Andrew Bucholtz on 08/25/2018

Back in July at media festival OZY Fest, Jemele Hill talked about her post-ESPN plans and said “there are other things I want to do besides sports, ” but noted she was still under contract for two more years, and added on Twitter that she was planning for the next 10-15 years and that there was “plenty I still want to do/will do at ESPN.” Well, it sounds like those post-ESPN plans may be kicking in sooner than many had expected. Jim Miller, the plugged-in media reporter and co-author of the Those Guys Have All The Fun oral history on ESPN, tweeted Saturday night that Hill will be leaving the Worldwide Leader Sept. 1 in an “amicable departure,” which came shortly after she met with new ESPN president Jimmy Pitaro:

... Hill has talked extensively about some possible career changes (especially in that OZY Fest appearance), including moving behind the camera, taking on institutionalized racism, and giving more of a voice to underrepresented people, especially women of color. And she also said in those comments that she wants to create content on race and gender in the news realm, not just in sports.  ...

Meanwhile, ESPN appears more eager than ever to change the “ESPN is too political” narrative  ...

I change the channel in a heartbeat if Olbermann is on. Perhaps I should be more sympathetic to the mentally ill, but I still can't stand him.

Hill's buyout also reported at NY Post:
Quote
Jemele Hill needed to be out at ESPN. Hill knew it. ESPN president Jimmy Pitaro knew it. And, now, Jemele Hill is out at ESPN.

The marriage between ESPN and Hill — the controversial sports commentator who waded into politics and sparred with President Donald Trump — has long been stuck in irreconcilable differences. Since leaving “SportsCenter” earlier this year, she has barely worked, making a divorce the obvious conclusion.

A buyout of her reported $2.5 million per year contract has been completed and her last day will be Friday, according to sources.  ...

It is quite simple as to why the buyout happened: Hill wants to continue her involvement in politics, and ESPN wants out of politics.  ...

It may be too late for ESPN to get out of politics. The damage has been done.

I used to watch some ESPN sports shows like PTI and the one before or after it, but I finally gave up after most of the talking  (sh*t)heads couldn't stop adding their liberal/left opinions to the sports stories. I haven't watched any of their sports shows for several years.
Hill is just one of many unrestrained leftists at ESPN. And while, yes, she's a nasty little racist, most of the white talking (sh*t)heads are not much better. Too much  leftism at ESPN.

When I found out Tony Kornheiser (and, presumably, Michael Wilbon) were golfing buddies of B. Hussein Obama, I really lost interest in PTI.

I used to read Kornheiser's columns many years ago. He was usually pretty funny and stayed away from political or social comments. But I knew he was a liberal.
But when he paired up with Wilbon, he got sucked into agreeing with Wilbon on every stupid thing that came out of Wilbon's mouth concerning race relations.
I remember on one of their shows Wilbon claiming that everything in America is run through the prism of race.  And Kornheiser said nothing.
Another time after Beyonce's disgraceful performance at the Super Bowl when she attacked the police, Wilbon smeared people who criticized her for politicizing the game. Kornheiser meekly assented to Wilbon's ridiculous  statements.
