Have some fun, it's hump day.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Again, I object to the inability to select 'More Beer'.

It's not trashed.  There's a really great picture of RDJ right in the middle of it.

LOL! That's funny. I walked into a liquor store recently looking to buy some beer. They had a whole refrigerated wall of all kinds of beer. I did not recognize a single one of them. Alpine Resort First Reserve. What the HELL is that!?

So I went to the counter and asked if they had any REAL beer. He said, Oh yeah, we keep that stuff in the back. He took me behind the wall and sure enough Bud, Miller, Pabst, all my friends were there. I bought a six of Miller 16oz and a plastic lemon of lemon juice. And that was that.

They are pushing these quaint little yuppie microbrews because they are double the price and double the profits. And they give the snobs a reason to feel superior about themselves.

For me, a cold glass of Miller with a squeeze of lemon is the best beer I have ever tasted. And no fancy label will ever top it.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

Yeah, I was a MGD guy for a helluva long time... but they got too full of themselves and jacked the price too far. PBR or Keystone, Rainier when I can find it...

I like it old school, and coffee is the same dang way... Folgers and a percolator suits me just fine.

So how does the song go?

I've got my ass in a lawn chair toes in the clay
Not a worry in the world, a PBR on the way

Well. I'm not sure how we got off on to coffee, but I have to reveal the secret. A lot, not all, of those fancy pants coffees are actually trash coffee beans which have been flavored. The producers figured out that if someone is going to drink Almond Toffee Crunch Coffee, or Apricot Cream Coffee, then the coffee beans don't matter.

So they take all the reject bulk coffee, flavor it up to mask any problems, and sell it for $10 a pound. Pretty cool gig. As long as people keep falling for it, they will keep producing it for them.

My favorite coffee is Maxwell House Extra Bold. I could buy the crazy African coffee for $25 bucks a pound, but why? I like what I like. MH is great. Don't need anything else. My palate is not refined enough to be able to enjoy it properly.

Great description of your rhetoric.

That's right. I consider that to be a feature.

However, I have taken raw beans and roasted them myself.  Cheap as heck and they store forever.

You just roast em in a pan like you would popcorn (covered and keep it moving), till you hear it cracking...   Let it get done and wait for it to start cracking a second time. Then just a touch more. The more you leave it on from then on, the darker the roast. Got an old school hand grinder to take it from there, as I like a coarser grind than the machine grinders will give.

Very good, once you get the knack of it.
