Six Insane California Laws That Go Into Effect Monday

The Daily Wire
By JARED SICHEL
December 29, 2017

For most Americans, the first moments of the new year are ones of celebration and excitement.

In California, it’s also a time to take stock of which new laws from the Democrat-controlled Legislature will make our lives just a little (or a lot) more frustrating. Here are six:

1. The entire state will now ignore U.S. immigration law: Because it’s worked so well in San Francisco, California Democrats decided that the entire state should ignore federal immigration law. SB 54 forbids law enforcement officials from asking someone’s immigration or holding them for Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents — unless they’ve been convicted of a crime. AB 291 prohibits landlords (you know, like, private citizens who own private property) from reporting renters who are in the US illegally.

California has decided to double-down on insane policies which have caused nothing but pain to the State and its citizens. I predict that soon California will get their wish and become a separate country. They will be so far away from the way the rest of America lives that they will be unrecognizable as being part of America.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

When it comes out of Sacramento 'Insane California Laws' is a triple redundancy.
My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.

I suppose this is an opinion piece masking itself as news but I really don't get the insane part. Hell, if the crazies in California elected people to make these laws then as a political conservative I say fine..as I tend to be more of a social Conservative I say what the hell?

I've lived in California. The majority of people living there aren't anywhere near stupid enough to have 'elected' this horror.

It's the 24/7 corrupt Dem machine centered in SF and LA responsible for this, along with decades of metastasizing Public Employee Unions that keep this Tyranny in place.

Get out of SF or LA and you'll find a whole bunch of folks outraged by it, and scratching their heads as to how it ever could have gotten this far out of hand.

They vote against it, and it doesn't matter. The corruption runs that deep.

Pretty much. I've lived here for about 48 years and this year I expect to leave. Got a business to move and real estate to sell to get out. I'm tired of paying for everyone's goodies year after year. My property taxes alone last year alone were over $30k. No more.

Glad to see you have seen the light..hope you relocate (and dont my friend wrong) but somewhere other than Montana... Texas is big and welcoming..Montana IMO is big and full...

Lived there for awhile too in the early part of last decade.

Beautiful state, but too many people, too many taxes and regulations, and too many fruitcakes, starting with the current governor.

It is a state over the top which will look like Puerto Rico in no time at all.

I used to visit friends out there and enjoy some vacation time, but will never again go there.

When they build the border wall along Arizona turn north between it and California and keep on going along the western edge of Nevada.

There was talk of secession in Ca not that long ago.

Ain't legal or going to happen, but it sure would reduce the National Debt.

There is talk of secession in Texas and eight other states too, California doesn't hold the patent on lunacy. Though I wonder if a state seceded, could their military hold a coup? It would seem the only way we could overcome the socialists running roughshod over the electorate in California and other states.
