Please understand that Linda has evidently (sounds like) bought into the 'reincarnation' deception and other Non-Biblical deceptions associated with the phenomena.
I talked with Linda face to face at probably a couple of conferences. She came across to me to have fairly firmly bought into a lot of new age constructions on the UFO phenomena. IIRC, she has a Roman Catholic background and seemed to like to wear a crucifix. However, she seems to have no trouble playing fairly loosely with the historical Biblical record.
There are snippets of commentary about some of the "realities" from the abductions associated with the images in the graphic/drawing taxonomy.
I realize that it is super easy for many to dismiss such narrative witness/experiencer reports out of hand. I think that is unwise to foolish.
1. There is a LOT of congruence from experiencers all around the world--i.e. the commonalities of the critter shapes and behaviors are fairly consistent and collect into a limited number of types. That number of types has ranged from 9 types to 70 types to 300 types and even one assertion that there are more than 1,000 different types of such critters.
2. Most of the witnesses do NOT want publicity. They mostly want relief from the plague of such memories. Sharing their testimonies of their experiences with researchers is one way to try and lay aside the troubling memories as well as to help our collective understanding. They also want to help other experiencers come to terms with their events.
3. Research studies have found that compared to the general population, the group of all abductees are slightly but significantly higher in intelligence and higher education. There are more social stars and social influencers in the group of all abductees.
4. The group of abductees are NOT more mentally/emotionally unstable than the general population. Some research has found the group to be slightly healthier mentally with the exception that there is commonly evidence of PTSD.
5. It is inconceivable to blame "mass hypnosis" for many thousands of events and experiencers all around the world at diverse locations.
6. I don't really care to bother with the contrary naysayers--however, it would be nice if they were sufficiently capable critical thinkers and bright enough to realize that shallow rationalizations trying to explain away the many thousands of such reports as having no basis in reality--it would be nice if such naysayers could at least grasp why such rationalizations just simply do not hold water.
7. Taking the testimony MOSTLY at face value is the BEST application of Ocham's Razor. The testimonies as stated as a collection puzzle pieces encompasses the largest percentage of the data bits.
8. Naysayer rationalizations do not BEGIN to encompass a significant percentage of the diverse data bits. They come across to me as a kind of frightened aversion to even begin to consider that such startling factoids could actually have a high measure of truth and tangible reality to them.
Anyway--this is, imho, a worthwhile video and maybe one of the top 25 such or even the top 15 such for those wanting to be minimally informed of the whole phenomena.
