The following video is worth the bother for those interested. It just happens to be one of a flood of such out since the Navy pilots disclosure by the government published in the NYT.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cOjOsVGPjE

I don't know that there's anything very new in it but a chunk of confirmation and some tiny bits that are fairly new.

= = = = =

Here's Linda Moulton Howe's "on historic DOD UFO CONFIRMATION:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3D10Ug5kfM

= = = = =

imho,

The flood gates are opening larger. It is stated that dramatic things will surface  over the next month. That rings fairly true, to me. Time will tell.

I'm already feeling like I can't keep up with the flood of credible and better sourced stuff just in the last 24 hours.

There is purportedly a plan to bring to light some of the tangible pieces of craft etc. etc. in public disclosure. e.g. the bismuth/zinc/magnesium 32 layered material that's still very thin though 32 layers.

People who are used to taking comfort in their skeptical 'agin-it' stance about 'high strangeness' realities will be very much tested in this coming month.

It has been stated that $1 BILLION has been dedicated to Tom DeLonge's project. And, that there are 5 other projects toward disclosure in addition to Tom's.

I've said frequently--buckle your seat belts. Now, the ride is getting more and more dramatic--insure seat belts are buckled. We are not only not in Kansas any more. We soon may not be able to see Kansas from here.

In practical terms, what this likely means for me generally and hereon regarding this topic: I will suffer fools even less and less well than ever before. If clueless idiots insist on remaining willfully ignorant, they can do it on their time in their sphere. I don't  care  to wrestle with them any more.

Those who seek my perspective from 55 years of studying the topic and are willing to do so with fair-mindedness  and mutual respect, I'll try and do my best to respond candidly and meaningfully.

BTW, amidst some of the flood of info, I saw a YOUTUBE title that something huge has just parked in front of the ISS. Time  will tell.

Cheers.

Walk with God. There is no other safety, security, protection, provision remotely sufficiently reliable.

The Pentagon and UFO's Assessing the Revelations

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHs_npEX6m4

Richard Dolan·Monday, January 1, 2018

Quote
. . .

These were not the vacuous, snarky pieces that typically emanate from the newspaper that publishes “all the news fit to print.” These were, in fact, two good articles that gave genuine information.

The main article, “Glowing Auras and ‘Black Money’: The Pentagon’s Mysterious U.F.O. Program,” offered several bombshells. Mainly, that the Pentagon, from the end of the George W. Bush presidency and through at least the first term of Barack Obama, spent millions of dollar investigating UFOs. Granted, $22 million over roughly five years is less than a pittance in Pentagon numbers. But that anything was spent at all is significant. We are talking from 2007 until (officially) “the 2012 time-frame,” in the imprecise words of a Pentagon official.

The program’s name was also typically vague---Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification (AATI). It was managed by a career intelligence officer named Luis Elizondo, who has been very straightforward about the program and the incredible nature of what it analyzed. According to Politico, which also published an article on this that came out soon after the Times pieces, Elizondo “described scores of unexplained sightings by Navy pilots and other observers of aircraft with capabilities far beyond what is currently considered aerodynamically possible.” Moreover, he said, these occurred near nuclear facilities, ships at sea, and power plants. Clearly, this is not random but intelligent. According to Elizondo, "We had never seen anything like it."

Recovered UFO Materials

UFO skeptics, as ever,
wave all this away. Still, isn’t anyone curious about the revelation that the program contracted out to Bigelow Aerospace to study “metal alloys and other materials that Mr. Elizondo [who managed the program] and program contractors said had been recovered from unidentified aerial phenomena.”

In any normal world, this would prompt a massive, collective, “whoa.” But the bland statement is buried within the article in the Times. Most people seem to have missed it. For years, researchers have argued that U.S. military agencies (and several other national militaries) have recovered and studied UFOs. Indeed, a number of declassified documents, to say nothing of a virtual avalanche of testimony, have at least supported this claim. So now we have it acknowledged in the New York Times itself, although couched in disclaimers (“Mr. Elizondo and program contractors said...”).

Even with the disclaimers, however, don’t we want to ask what exactly constitutes these “metal alloys and other materials”? This is a reasonable question. We are talking about, quite literally, recovered UFOs. What, if any, were the conclusions generated by Bigelow Aerospace regarding these materials?

Effects of UFOs on Human Biology

That revelation was followed by another one: “Researchers also studied people who said they had experienced physical effects from encounters with the objects and examined them for any physiological changes.”

There has been a lot of quiet talk about this over the past few years. Former U.S. Airman First Class John Burroughs, from the well-known Rendlesham Forest case of December 1980, has experienced documented and life-threatening physical after-effects from his encounter with a landed UFO. He was also the investigator who first recognized the immense value of the declassified U.K. report from the late 1990s known as the Condign Report, which discussed at length physical effects on human beings from UAP --- that is, UFOs.

So, these are things that researchers essentially already knew, but now the New York Times confirms that U.S. taxpayers funded, via the Pentagon, studies of such physiological and biological effects. Again, we want to know: what conclusions, if any, were found? More to the point, wouldn’t it be worthwhile to flesh out this story?

An Extraordinary Encounter

We don’t yet know all the UFO cases studied by the AATI Program. But at least one high profile encounter has now reached us: the November 2004 incident involving the USS Princeton one hundred miles off the coast of San Diego. This was the theme of the other article published by the New York Times on December 16.

Briefly, Commander David Fravor and Lt. Commander Jim Slaight were each flying F/A-18F Super Hornets on a routine training mission. It turned out that for the previous two weeks, the Navy had been tracking extraordinary unidentified objects that would appear at 80,000 feet, dive to 20,000 feet, stop and hover, then drop out of radar range or shoot straight up.
. . .

Not a great lot new in this article. It does, however, point out some important aspects which too many slide too glibly past.
I think it's worth a good read.

Top UFO Researcher (Stanton Friedman) Talks Tom DeLonge, Steven Greer and evil aliens

At the Alien Cosmic Expo in Toronto, 2017

Notes that astronomers are not really equipped very well to be experts on the topic. They need to do their homework or shut up. They've virtually never studied the evidence. Fewer than 2% of people have read the evidence--including the astronomers. They certainly haven't read the  scientific studies.

"Technological progress comes from doing things differently in an unexpected way."

Magellan's ships took 3 years to go around the world. The space station does it in 95 minutes.

He worked as a physicist on interstellar travel issues for the government.

Worked on nuclear airplanes in 1958 with a $100 million budget.

Bluebook sham study. The unknowns were not 3% but were 21% contrary to what the fiercely biased leader tried to claim. The better quality of the sighting, the more likely to be an unknown. The duration of observation for the unknowns were greater than for the knowns. I don't like being lied to by the Secretary of the Air Force. That's what motivated me to get involved. That's 700 lectures since.

Congressional hearings in July 29 1968--Stanton's birthday. He was one of the contributors.

The Condon report over 800 pages with a lot of baloney.

30% of 117 cases studied in detail could not be explained.

Dr J Allen Hynek's book, an astronomer--chairman of the astronomy dept NWestern Univ.

= = = =
It's a talk rather typical in Stanton's style with his dry humor and caustic wit. His memory for details is still considerable.
= = = =

Astronomers' observations are planned. They aren't standing outside considering what  to look at. They don't deal with witnesses. They deal with instruments and data.

Caustic about SETI "Don't bother me with the facts, my mind's made up."

JFK'S was on the Board of Oversears faculty member  to work with was astronomer faculty member Donald Menzel

30 years with the National Security apparatus ... no one knew about this. He suggested to Kennedy after he was  President that once Kennedy was cleared, maybe Menzel could be of help to him about such things.  Menzel pretended there was nothing to UFO's etc. though he loved the topic.

Menzel had seen memos etc. about Stanton. He was a 'nasty noisey negativist' because that was his assigned role.

Menzel was listed as a member of "Majestic 12." THE group studying UFOs. Set up by Truman.

StantonFriedman.com

Seems to be old enough to be a bit forgetful about what he's already said.

I  don't think he got around to commenting that much about Tom DeLonge etc.

Bigelow, UFOs, MUFON and ‘DeLonge’ Road to AATIP

AATIP = ‘Advanced Aviaton Threat Identification Program’

This is a well above average thread at ATS with lots of links and history.

‘TRONDANT’ and the 1992 Roper Survey

If you have no idea what “TRONDANT” means then you have probably never heard of the 1992 Roper Survey either. In 1991, Robert Bigelow, along with other interested parties proposed a survey project to estimate the number of alien abductees in America.

These were a series of 3 polls conducted by The Roper Organization, funded by Bigelow regarding “alien abduction”. Polls were conducted during the summer and early autumn of 1991. The results remain highly controversial in that it concluded 1 in every 50 (over 4 million American) people appeared to have been abducted by aliens.

The survey was sent to 100,000 psychiatrists to give to patients who claimed “unusual personal experiences” i.e., “abducted by aliens.”This was based on a sample of just under 6000 participants. However question 6 was used as a control question. Anyone who felt “TRONDANT” had a secret meaning for them was eliminated .
