Trump tweet on firing Flynn was authored by Trump's lawyer: report

President Trump's tweet Saturday saying he had fired Michael Flynn as national security adviser because he lied to Vice President Pence and the FBI was reportedly authored by Trump's personal lawyer, John Dowd.

Two sources familiar with the tweet told The Washington Post Saturday that Dowd, Trump's chief counsel, had crafted the tweet. The White House has not yet made a statement about the tweet, but its authorship could change the tweet's pertinence in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of Russian election meddling.

Translation. Trump had two choices after he stepped in it with his tweet. Either take ownership over it or blame it on his lawyer. Funny thing is, if his lawyer actually crafted this tweet he is the dumbest lawyer ever. Only the best people! LOL!

I think they probably do along with others but he doesn't listen to them. A lawyer or two has already quit. It wouldn't be a stretch to think that may be the reason why.

What is really funny (LOL) is that you choose to believe this totally unsourced story.  Not a single name or confirmation.

No, here's the gist of the story, if you bother to look elsewhere - or anywhere.  It's been widely reported, discussed on Sunday shows, and covered today.

“My mistake,” John Dowd, Trump’s personal lawyer, told Axios. Dowd said he drafted the tweet and passed it along to White House social media director Dan Scavino.

“I’m out of the tweeting business,” Dowd said. “I did not mean to break news.”

Dowd also told ABC News the tweet was “sloppy.”

Yep. People are laughing Emjay but it's not at me. LOL! Trump's lawyer claimed to CNN , as well as other sources that he drafted the tweet and it was posted by Dan Scavino. So the source of the story is Trump's lawyer. Sometimes it pays to do some research on your own instead of parroting what the fan club is using as the latest spin. It saves embarrassment.
